Finchley Greek School
Parents in the Greek Community established Finchley Greek School in 1994, with the desire to offer children in North London the opportunity to learn the Greek language and preserve a history and culture that has enlightened the western world.
The founding members sought to encourage the active involvement of parents and friends so that the School would become a model of high standards and achievement in community education.
To this current day, the School continues to be a model of educational excellence much admired and envied by other supplementary schools with much longer histories. Results in GCSE and A-Level Greek are consistently strong and this is a testament to the strong leadership of our head master Mr Michalis Ellinas and his team of wonderful native Greek teachers.
